Jewelry hallmarking
Hallmarking of Sentiell's Jewelry
In 2005, Poland joined the Hallmarking Convention (Convention on the Control and Marking of Articles of Precious Metals). This allows our customers to sell Sentiell jewelry in other member countries without any additional formalities.
In accordance with Polish regulations on the marking of precious metal products, all jewelry offered by Sentiell wholesale is stamped with a fineness mark (925) confirming the precious metal content.
Each piece of silver jewelry weighing at least 5 g (in the case of earrings – 10 g per pair ) is additionally marked with an assay hallmark. If a single item weighs less than 5 g, the jewelry is marked with a fineness mark and either the manufacturer’s or the importer’s mark.
